Hi y'all! This is Eric, adding a little update. Rick did chrono the TF-89 before sending it out, but only with two pellets, the RWS Hobby and the Crosman Premier Domed. With the Hobby, the 89 generated an average of 849 fps. With the Premier Domed, 768 fps. The results were remarkably consistent, only varying by 3-4 fps per shot!

Hobby pellets didn't group so well. I used some RWS SuperDomes and they were pretty good, but it wasn't until I tried the Crosman Premium Pointed pellets that the groups tightened up dramatically!

I like to shoot the ends of soda cans, as that curved end is highly visible even in low light, and I have a LOT of soda cans to go through at any given time! I've got photos of 5 or 6 pellets going into one small hole in the bottom, and coming out the "pour hole" in the top of three cans, without touching (or barely nicking) the sides of the pour holes! Remarkable performance really!

I'v got a review of the TechForce 59 from Eric that I need to post. I should have it up and going by the end of the week. I've got a Gamo Big Cat in for testing and I've got the Gamo Hunter Extreme coming back from repair. On top of all that, I've got a bunch of new TechForce models coming in. Should be a busy Summer!
