Havasu Airgunners Fun Shoot September 6th 2014

Airgun Web would like to thank HatsanUSA for their support of Havasu Airgunners and their most recent Fun Shoot that was held on September 6th at the Havasu Sportsmans Club at SARA Park in Lake Havasu City Arizona. It was HOT, but despite the heat there was a very good turnout for the event.   Folks were able to test a great sampling from Hatsan that ranged from their super light and easy cocking youth gun the Striker Alpha, all the way up to their top of the line Galatian QE PCP airgun that’s fully suppressed with front tri-rail and high capacity magazines. New to the Hatsan line is their line of CO2 pistols starting with the TAC BOSS 250XT. This great little pistol sends BBs down range at over 450 FPS and stays accurate well past other BB pistols on the market.

For our contest, Airgun Pro Shop (located here in Lake Havasu City) provided a Hatsan Striker 1000 which folks had the chance to win by shooting at our random targets. The winner was 9 year old Anthony Nelson who came the closest to hitting the target without tagging the dreaded skull and crossbones.

Perhaps the favorite airgun of the day was the Hatsan AT44 QE in .22 caliber.   This great airgun is devastatingly accurate and very, very quiet. What also makes this rifle so attractive is the price. It is very affordable for a suppressed PCP airgun with this kind of repeatable accuracy, ease of use, and power. It was hard to get people to share!

Thank you to everyone that has helped out with the various medical bills from 2017.  As many of you know I was taken to the ER early February and spent a week in the hospital.  I was able to get insurance this year which is a big help, but the deductibles come up to $6500. Additionally, I was out of state and out of network.  You all that have insurance know what I’m talking about here.  We don’t know they will and won’t cover at this point.  The important thing is that I’m doing very well and back on track.  I want to thank the Lord for pulling me through all of this and trust that He will complete the work he has started.  Thank you all again for all your support along the way.
