On Saturday, May 31st, 2025, I was in the middle of a live stream discussing the Barra 250z and the FX DRS Tactical. While talking about those products and showing photos of them on a gun rest, I received a notice from YouTube that I had violated their Firearms Terms of Service, my live stream had been stopped, and my video deleted. This left my viewers wondering what happened without a means to even let them know what was going on.
I appealed YouTube’s action and, in less than an hour, received an email stating they had “confirmed” that I had violated the terms of service. They said that I had violated this clause:
“Content that shows someone live streaming while holding, handling, or transporting a firearm isn’t allowed on YouTube. Channels not in compliance with this policy may temporarily lose their ability to live stream.”
Well, here’s the livestream reposted for your review. You all tell me where I violated their TOS? The only place an automated system may have been fooled was when I was shooting my Vimeo Page (https://www.vimeo.com/airgunweb by the way if you want to watch my stuff without all this BS and with out ads!) where there’s a video playing in the header of me shooting the Benjamin Bulldog M457. But that was not live on camera and is clear that it’s a video, not live.
Anyway… that’s the deal.. What do you all think??
