About this Video:

This “Macavity Arms MA3 .22 – How does it handle the wind at 100 Yards shooting Steel Targets?” video is brought to you by Macavity Arms, and our AirgunWeb and Gateway to Airguns sponsors and supporters, especially our Patreon Members and Officers’ Club Members. Thank you for helping us create this content and helping viewers get the MOST out of their Airguns!

Our Macavity MA3 is chambered in .22 and set to run about 970 FPS. That’s been the sweet spot for 50-yard accuracy with the JSB 18.13s. They also did well at 100 yards in our last video. But as the wind picked up on the range, we thought it would be a good test to see how this setup handled a bit of wind. Once we sorted out how the wind was affecting our POI, we did pretty well. To be really useful in the wind at range, we’d probably want to look at the .25 or .30 caliber pushing near the top of its abilities, but the .22 did pretty well too. Take a look and let us know how your airguns do in the wind at range!

Man, it’s a great time to be an airgunner!
